Areté was founded just up the valley in Ridgway by Michelle Mullins, a dual board-certified nurse practitioner. Care is whole-person, drawing on functional, holistic, and conventional medicine, with a primary focus on perimenopause, menopause, and hormone replacement therapy alongside thyroid, metabolic, and sleep health.

Established Montrose patients can have labs drawn at home during a visit. I deliver them to Quest Diagnostics myself, so there's no extra trip to a draw site.
