Care offered statewide

Full-picture women's health, wherever you are in Colorado.

Every service is delivered by telehealth (with select in-home visits on the Western Slope). Explore each area of care:

For patients on the Western Slope & mountain communities

Telehealth statewide. And something more for mountain Colorado.

For women on the Western Slope and in mountain communities, the barriers to specialist women's health care are real, significant travel, mountain passes in all conditions, and limited local access to providers who specialize in integrative hormonal care. Areté was founded in Ridgway specifically to address this gap.

In person home visits

For established patients in Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Montrose, in person evaluation is also available at home when clinically appropriate. No waiting rooms. No mountain pass in February. A physical exam by a clinician who already knows your full history, in your own home.

Home visits can also include an in-home lab draw. I collect your labs directly and deliver them to Quest Diagnostics myself, no separate trip to a draw site required.

In person visits are available for established patients, subject to availability and patient preference, on a case by case basis. Areté does not offer in home procedures. Home visits are for in person evaluation and physical exam needs.

Founded in Ridgway, Colorado

Areté is led by Michelle Mullins, a dual board certified nurse practitioner based in Ridgway. This isn't a national platform with rotating providers, it's a Colorado practice with deep roots in this state, built for the women who live here. Whether you're in Denver or Dolores, you see the same clinician every time.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions.

Can I really see Areté from anywhere in Colorado?

Yes. Areté is Colorado licensed and serves women across the entire state via telehealth. Whether you're in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Grand Junction, Durango, or anywhere in between, if you have a Colorado address and a video connection, you can be a patient.

How does telehealth work for lab work and prescriptions?

Visits are conducted via secure video through your patient portal, accessible from a phone, tablet, or computer. Before your first visit, you'll complete a detailed intake to give your clinician a thorough starting picture. Lab orders are sent to a draw site near you ahead of follow up visits, so results are ready to review together. Prescriptions are sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.

Can my labs be drawn at home?

Yes, for established patients in Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Montrose. I can draw your labs during an in-home visit and deliver them to Quest Diagnostics myself, no separate trip to a draw site required. For patients elsewhere in Colorado, labs are ordered through a local Quest near you.

Will I see the same provider every time?

Yes. Areté is a Colorado based practice led by one clinician, Michelle Mullins. You see the same provider at every visit, who knows your history, your labs, your goals, and your progress over time. This is a clinical relationship, not a platform mediated encounter with whoever is available.

Are in person visits available?

For established patients in the northern San Juan region, Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Montrose, in person home visits are available when clinically appropriate, subject to availability and patient preference. All other care is delivered via telehealth. In person visits are not required for any aspect of Areté's care.
